Registration for Mahalaya Shraaddha ceremony — by 20th Sep 2022.

Jai Gurudev, Jai Jagannath,

With the blessings of God and Gurus, we are planning to organize MAHALAYA SHRADDHA CEREMONY at HARIHARANANDA GURUKULAM, SRI JAGANNATHA DHAM, PURI.

Shraaddha is an act of expressing deep respect and gratitude towards our departed ancestors. It also aids the departed soul in its onward journey.

Shraaddha performed on MAHALAYA AMAVASYA invokes special blessings to all deceased. If performed in holy places like Sri Jagannatha Puri and in Sadhguru Peetha like Hariharananda Gurukulam (Sri Guru Govinda Go peetha), it helps the departed soul move towards attaining liberation.

Both Kriyavaans as well as non Kriyavaans can avail this opportunity. In case one does not remember the names of the ancestors of the deceased near and dear ones, still you can do shraddha.
