Shreemad Bhagavad Geeta is a unique manual which addresses the multifarious problems of human lives irrespective of one's caste, creed, religion and culture. People of all faiths can effectively apply the teachings of Geeta to achieve success in any field of their choice, without having to change their religion or belief. Even after Five Thousand years, it is highly relevant to people of all age groups. Over the years the sacred knowledge of Bhagavad Geeta has been transferred from one generation to the other by the sages and seers of this holy land through Guru-Shishya Parampara. To study and spread the spiritual message of the Geeta for the welfare of mankind is a great opportunity.
Prajnana Mission, under loving guidance of Paramahamsa Prajnanananda Maharaj has stepped forward to take the holy Geeta to the students and community at large by organising,
with the message "Geeta Sugeeta Kartavya", meaning chant, study and live the song of Bhagavad Geeta.
Annual Geeta Chanting Competition is being organised in Odisha among students of Primary, Upper Primary, Secondary, Higher Secondary Schools and University Students as well. The competition is held at three levels, viz: Block Level, District Level & State Level. Students those who are selected in the block level, participate in the district level and students those who are selected in the district level are qualified to participate in the state level competition. The competition is held in five categories as per the following:
Prizes and Merit Certificates are distributed in Block and District Level Competitions and scholarships are awarded in State Level Competition separately for each category. However, all the participants in District and State Level competition get participation certificate as a token of Love and Blessings from Beloved Shree Gurudev and Shree Guruji.

Prajnana Mission organises Annual State Level Geeta Jnana Pareeksha (Written Test on Bhagavad Geeta). The Test is held in all the districts of Odisha in more than 60 centres. The test is held in three categories as per the following
The students who score high in the respective categories are awarded scholarship for one year. We bring out a booklet in Odia language as study material containing the text based on the chapter (theme) announced, model question and answers, model OMR sheet. However, the question papers contain questions in both Odia and English language.

Geeta Pathashala is non-formal school, where students learn Bhagavad Geeta. The classes are held at least once a week at a convenient venue where students can learn Geeta together and admission to this pathashala is open for students of all age groups. Here the students learn to chant the verses with their word-to-word meaning and its explanation and application in day to day life. The maximum duration is one and half hour per class. Local Sanskrit Teacher(s) having interest in Geeta, who is voluntarily interested to serve for the cause, can teach the students. The academic calendar may vary year to year. However, conduction of examinations at regular intervals will be same throughout the state.
Geeta Pathashalas are registered with Prajnana Mission. Prajnana Mission has brought out text books on Bhagavad Geeta to be used for teaching-learning at the Geeta Pathashala. Those who successfully completes the course, is awarded with a merit certificate.
Geeta Svadhyaya Sabha or Geeta Study Group is a forum, where interested people assemble to study and discuss on Bhagavad Geeta. The study groups are generally held once a week at a convenient place and it last for one and half hour. The number of members in a study group varies from 5 - 15. The groups are registered with Prajnana Mission and time to time mission guide the Study Groups for their smooth functioning.
Geeta Svadhyaya Sabha members study Bhagavad Geeta chapter by chapter. At regular interval of time Prajnana Mission conducts test and award certificate to those who successfully complete the Geeta Course.
