Dear Divine All -
We are happy to announce that we are organizing a spiritual retreat at Maha Kumbh Mela at Sangam, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Kriyavans can plan either for the entire duration or for some days.
Kumbh Mela is the largest peaceful congregation on the planet of millions of pilgrims including great saints, mahatmas, and yogis since time immemorial. It is celebrated in a 12-year cycle with a three-year interval at Haridwar, Prayagraj, Ujjain, and Nashik. The year 2025 marks the end of the 12-year cycle; hence, the name ‘Maha Kumbh Mela’ and this will be held at Prayagraj. The significance of Prayagraj is that it is the confluence of the three holy rivers - Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. Many devout seekers gather in millions to have the darshan of sadhus, mahatmas, yogis, swamis, and ascetics of all kinds from different traditions. Those mahatmas who never travel, leave their places and attend Kumbha Mela to bestow their blessings on the pilgrims.
As it will be a spiritually significant occasion, we are organizing a camp from January 12 to February 12, 2025. The important snana (bathing) dates during the Mela are:
The camp at Kumbh Mela will provide an opportunity for kriyavans for a month-long sadhana shibir (silent retreat). Kriyavans can plan either for the entire duration or for some days.
