Kriya Yoga is the path given by Sage Patanjali in the Yoga Sutra (2.1). It is the most ancient system of meditation practice. It is a form of meditation based on simple scientific techniques of breath, a few spinal exercises (mudras), and meditating on inner sound, light, and vibration. It is a continuous meditation process for systematic and gradual transformation of body, mind, intellect, and spiritual state.
This sacred practice traces its modern revival to Mahavatar Babaji, who taught it to Lahiri Mahasaya in 1861. Prajnana Mission continues this ancient tradition, spreading the teachings of the Kriya Yoga Masters.

He frequently retreated to the solitude of remote Himalayan caves to be in the company of sages and saints seeking ultimate Truth. He kept up a rigorous spiritual practice under the tutelage of more...
