Sri Guru Janmabhumi Mandir is in Habibpur, Nadia, West Bengal. Habibpur, the birth place of Shri Gurudev, is a medium-sized village having a population of about 15,000 as of 2025. Situated in the Ganges belt, the land is fertile leading to greenery in the village.
In order to commemorate the sacred legacy of his Shri Gurudev, Shri Guruji conceived a divine thought to build a temple at his Guru’s birthplace in Habibpur. Shri Guru Janmabhumi Mandir stands as a symbol of love of Shri Gurudev who transformed countless numbers of lives all over the world.
Shri Guruji laid the foundation stone for the Shri Guru Janmabhumi Mandir in a solemn ceremony on October 23, 2019. The inner sanctorum of the temple was specifically designed to bring a yogic concept.
After the conceptualization of the design of the entire structure, the construction started in January 2020. In spite of the impact of COVID during the initial phase of the construction, the project got accomplished well in time for the inauguration in February 2023. The loving and helpful nature of the people, and benevolent nature of Shri Gurudev’s family members, made this project a divine work.
The journey of Shri Gurudev is akin to a veritable Ganges of Kriya Yoga whose regenerating power of love encompassed the entire world. It began in Habibpur, Nadia, West Bengal and culminated in Balighai, Shri Jagannatha Kshetra Puri, Odisha.
Shri Guruji inaugurated the temple and offered it to the service of humanity on 23 February 2023.
