Our Offerings:
Kriya Yoga Initiation
- The Process- The journey along the sacred path of Kriya Yoga begins with purification. Seekers partake in a sacred ceremony aimed at purifying the energy centers within the spine and the body. Each seeker is initiated individually through the direct guidance of Guru/Acharya from this esteemed lineage. During this initiation, the Guru/Acharya imparts the triple divine qualities of sound, vibration, and light directly into the seeker. Through this process, the seeker learns to perceive the inner light of the soul, hear the divine sound, and feel the divine sensation that courses through the body. Sacred mantras are chanted throughout the ceremony, providing clear explanations in English and local languages.
- An Unbroken Line of Direct Transmission - Authentic initiation into Kriya Yoga must be received directly from Paramahamsa Prajnanananda or one of his authorized Kriya Yoga teachers (Yogacharyas). This revered lineage does not offer correspondence courses or remote lessons, ensuring that the sacred teachings are preserved and transmitted with integrity through direct, personal guidance.
- Attending a Kriya Yoga Program - Yogacharyas regularly tour the world to deliver lectures, initiate seekers, conduct guided meditation classes, and provide spiritual counselling. A comprehensive Kriya Yoga program includes an introductory lecture, followed by initiation into the authentic Kriya Yoga by Guru or a recognized Yogacharya (teacher), teaching the techniques of Kriya Yoga Meditation and a minimum of three follow-up group meditations under the teacher's guidance. Following the initiation, individuals are encouraged to establish regular personal practice and engage in group meditations in their local area, as their schedules permit, typically on a weekly basis.
Kriya Yoga Retreats – Prajnana Mission in association with Kriya Yoga Institute or Kriya Yoga Zentrum organizes Kriya Yoga retreats at Hariharananda Gurukulam, Balighai, Puri, Odisha, Hariharananda Dhayana Mandir in Amarkantak, Chhattisgarah, Hariharananda Tapovanam in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, and at other retreat places all over India. The primary purpose of these retreats is to help the seekers to spend time in silence and meditation, deepen their practice, and listen to the discourses on yoga philosophy, etc.
Seminars and Satsangs – The Mission organizes Seminars and Satsangs for learning and reflecting so that one can live with awareness, devotion, and harmony.
