Guru Purnima is celebrated on the full moon day in the month of Ashadh (July) of the Hindu calendar to pay our homage to the lineage of spiritual masters. It coincides with the holy birthday of Shri Veda Vyasa, the compiler of the four Vedas and eighteen Puranas. This year, the sacred day felled on 31st July 2015 as per the English calendar. Foundation Day Celebration of Kriya Yoga Ashram, Jagatpur, Cuttack
Prajnana Mission celebrated the 22nd Foundation Day of Jagatpur Ashram on May 17. Jagatpur Ashram was established by Paramahamsa Prajnananandaji in the year 1993 as per the divine wish of Gurudev Paramahamsa Hariharanandaji. Swanakshyatra Divasa of Poojya Gurudev
Hariharananda Matru Ashram celebrated the 108th Birthday of Parama Poojya Gurudev Paramahamsa Hariharanandaji Maharaj on 3rd and 4th May 2015. On the morning of 3rd May there were Kriya Yoga Initiation programme and Go-Mata Pujan and Akhanda Dhyana from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. by the mothers of the Matru Ashram. On the morning of 4th May, there were Pravat Sankirtan, Morning Meditation, Guru Paduka Pooja & Hovan. Guru Geeta Chanting was done in the pre-lunch session. In the afternoon session there were Devotional Song programme followed by Evening Satsang. Parama Poojya Shree Guruji, Pujya Bipin Baba, Pujya Bhabani Baba, Pujya Swami Gurukrupananda Ma and Pujya Swami Arupananda Baba adressed the public in the evening satsang. More than 2000 people gathered on the ocassion and received prasad.
