Janmashtami (Lord Krishna's Birthday)

Lord Krishna, a famous deity in India who lived a few thousand years before Christ, was born on this day according to the lunar calendar. On this day, we will celebrate with Krishna kirtans and a puja (worship ceremony) followed by meditation and a community dinner.
