Transformation

From time immemorial God has been speaking through the voices of saints and sages. What is our change and transformation? Where are we? What are we doing? Do we feel the presence of God within us and do we have that love for Him? Do we realize what we are saying with our mouths? Do we realize that every word is a mantra, a prayer, and each word can give so much love or pain to others?

If our thoughts, words or actions create pain or trouble in the life of others, it is a great vice. Do we realize this? We should try to change our life. If our look changes our outlook changes and our approach to life changes. Before we speak out, we should change our lives. Life is a beautiful opportunity. We can look at it in many ways and enjoy it. Looking at a glass that is half filled with water, one may say it is half full and another may say it is half empty. The one who says it is half empty is pessimistic and regrets not having the other half. The one who says it is half full is optimistic and thinks, God has given me this much, let me be content. In the vision of a mystic, however, the glass is always full, half with water and half with air. There is no room for emptiness.

What type of outlook do we possess? What type of life do we want to live? The choice is ours. If we want, we can change our life, habits, behavior, thoughts and activities. God is the witness and knows each thought within us. We cannot evade Him. God is omnipresent. Outwardly we may pretend to be anything but when we honestly look within, we know exactly what we are. No one can change us unless we want to change ourselves. It depends on us and on no one else. It is useless to shift the blame to others or say it is destiny. We are what we do. What we are due to our past and what we want to be is reflected in our activities. We must constantly examine whether we are indeed what we say and change accordingly. God loves us in every possible way. Time is precious. We cannot waste time with trivial and unnecessary things.

When life is full of love there is no anger and no ego. When the mind is fully occupied with positive thoughts, there is no door for the negative thoughts to come. When one is busy, there is no time for idle thoughts. An idle mind is a devil's workshop. Anything we do comes in the form of a thought first. The seed state is the thought, the sprout state is the work, and the manifested state is the tree or the fruit. So every human mind can be a divine kingdom or a place of the devil.

The choice is ours. We can make our life beautiful or full of negative things. If we really want our own spiritual growth, we must be careful. Each of us has immense divinity within and that should be explored through meditation. There is no other way. If we do not cleanse our minds we will not progress. We are all engaged in this constant battle for perfection.
