I have achieved the treasure of divine love, precious wealth, priceless in nature. I am bestowed with the immeasurable compassion of my Guruji. This treasure cannot be spent, cannot be stolen by thieves, and can never diminish in nature. The world is an ocean; to cross it, the boat is Truth and Sadguru, the boat man. Thus speaks Meera to her beloved Giridhar Nagar, and that such love is only experienced through the grace of the Guru.
Love is the beauty in life. The true spirit of love is born with acceptance. It grows with understanding, blossoms with surrender, and matures and bears fruit with the experience of oneness. Love lives with the recognition of relationship. The relationship between the teacher and student is pure love without an iota of expectation. Love wilts with desire as desire is insatiable. Love dies with doubt. Love dazzles and shines with the burning fire of separation and is perfected with pain and suffering. There is no way to love because love is the way.
One who is rich with love has everything One who has love conquers the whole world. The path of love kills ego but perfects the art of loving .Nothing is superior to love. No achievement is greater. Love sanctifies thought. Love uses every moment .there fore love purifies thought.
Beloved Gurudev, I am feeling your presence, your love, your compassion, your sacrifice, your way of teaching and training and above all your oneness. Time passes away too quickly. Every moment of life is in the book of my memory. Many things have been written. Many things are clearly visible; many things are invisible but still treasured across the pages of my life.
Virahe tomake pai harai milana kshane;
Rater sephali jayego jharia prabhater darashane.
"In separation I find you; in association in closeness, I miss you, just like the safali flower blooms in the night, in the absence of the Sun, thinking of the Sun, and as the Sun rises the flower drops down from the tree."
You quoted this in 1994; I wrote it down but could not understand its meaning. When the little note book in which I wrote it came back to my hands at the end of December 2002, when my mind was filled with the sorrow of physical separation from you, my thoughts were directed to you continuously, my eyes were seeking your loving presence, your smile and your love form this two line song I found the vivid message you wanted to give me.
Your thought still vibrates my life; your thought creates more love and more understanding in my heart, your thought brings strength in my life. Every day I think of you more and more. I look back into the book of my memory to reflect upon you and contemplate on you, to feel your presence and your love. Your thought is my inspiration. Your teaching is the treasure of my heart.
Life flows like a river. The river begins its journey in the mountain passing through them overcoming many obstacles. Ultimately it reaches the ocean, its ultimate destiny. The end of life is to merge in God. Once the river reaches the ocean, the flow becomes easy. But the course of the river itself, until it reaches the ocean is not easy. It is filled with many obstacles and difficulties. Katha Upanishad says, "Spiritual life is like walking the razor's edge"
Fortunately some tributaries or streams can join a big river that has already reached the ocean. It is much easier to reach the ocean by following a mighty river's path. The same is true when seekers join their lives with the life of a realized being. This happens all the time. Many seekers merge with the ocean of bliss through the holy company of a realized one.
Gurudev, Your life is like the Ganga flowing from the mountain peaks and glaciers, rushing towards the ocean sanctifying many places. Even a small river merging in Ganga becomes Ganga.I look upon my life as a tiny tributary which merging in you has flowed towards the ocean so easily. Following a realized one is life. The Scriptures say to follow the Masters. Following the course of a realized being leads us to the ultimate goal of life.
