Various projects are undertaken for the socio-cultural and spiritual upliftemnt of individual and society as whole, under the blessed guidance of Paramahamsa Prajnanananda. The disciples of ashram get the oppurtunity to learn dedication and self-less service through the project activities and ultimately benefiting the society.
The Monumental Task - Samadhi Mandir
With the grace of God and gurus the construction of the Samadhi shrine has progressed rapidly and completed on time as planned before Gurudev's birth centenary celebration, thanks to the dedication of the many volunteers and special thanks to the architect of the project Histas Damania.
Give the Gift of Knowledge
Hariharananda Balashram, the Residential School for Poor and Orphan children who are otherwise deprived of primary education started with forty children of ages 4-5 last year and the 3nd batch of 40 students are enrolled for this academic year. The construction of separate hostel for boys and girls, library, science labrotory and playground are under progress.
Health is Wealth - Health Centers
The free clinics both at the Cuttack and Balighai ashrams and the mobile dental unit are functioning at full capacity serving the neighboring communities and schools. The service is provided under the banner HCHC - Hariharananda Charitable Health Center.
Faith in the Presence - Ashram Temple
Temples are the means for cultivating bhakti that gives the power of endurance to face difficulties with faith in the presence of God. Our temple on the gurukulam grounds with regular worship and services is promoting just that.
Preserving for Posterity
Complete Works of Gurudev, the major project of compiling the precious teachings of our beloved Gurudev, translation into several languages is going on in several countries under the guidance of Baba Prajnananandaji. Spiritual Awareness
Free distribution of 10,000 copies of the booklet "A Successful Lifestyle" about the Life and Teachings of Paramahamsa Hariharananda, is planned as a centenary activity to promote message of the legendary master of Kriya Yoga and spiritual awareness.
