Humanitarian Aids
The tremendous need for humanitarian aid in Orissa caused by hurricanes, cyclones and draught prompted Prajnana Mission to take up the causes of rehabilitation, school education, professional training, social service and health care in the poorest regions of India, as well as medical check ups, child, youth and family welfare programs together with the provision of care for the aged, sick and handicapped. The tireless efforts of the many dedicated volunteers of Prajnana Mission and help from Hand in Hand Austria and Hand in Hand of USA have made this possible.
With the help and collaboration of Hand in Hand Vienna, Prajnana Mission financed the construction of new homes for the flood victims and keys for 12 new homes were handed over by the King of Orissa at a meeting held under the auspices of Prajnana Mission.
